Last week I got a call from a company in San Francisco that wants me to come out for at least two weeks to shoot interior commercial spaces for them. Of course I agreed and they are flying me out tomorrow! Should be a lot of work, but I’m pumped to be in SF, finally getting paid to do what I love.
Telling folks I’m not doing my job, I’m lazy, I should be removed as lead staff, blah blah blah. All the while she sits on her giant ass, stuffing her face, doing no work at the house.
It wouldn’t piss me off if I were actually lazy, but I work my ass off at this place. The reason she’s running her fucking mouth is because I’m actually making her do work, at her job, that she gets paid to do. I was very nice about it too, and now I’m paying for being the good guy. Nice guy shit is over now. I will document every single fuckup this broad makes. Trust me, I can be an asshole too. I’ve been there about a month, I’ve received virtually no training other than “this needs to get done” and I’m still managing to get shit done. It didn’t make it any easier that I was coming into a category 5 shitstorm, as the position I got was also applied for by another woman at my house. As bitchy as she was at first, she’s become more my ally than anyone else! I like what I do for the most part. Our clients (even the behavioral ones) can be supremely fucking awesome and it’s a god damn good feeling when they let you know they like the way you take care of them.
This is coming to a head soon, I can feel it. The really shitty part is that I have to sit down with management next week and discuss the fact that I’m leaving the country for a couple of months at the end of the year, and I’d like to come back to a job. I don’t know what’s going to happen, but if I lose my job because of this piece of trash, someone is getting cunt-punched.
It will be four women of varying ages and me. Wish me luck.
