On the left you will see my poor iPhone.  On the right you will see the reason for the screen’s demise. I was setting up my studio (read: basement) for a shoot I’m doing later, testing out my hot-lights to make sure everything worked.  When I turned on one of these 500 watt fuckers, it exploded in my face!  Since I was on the phone at the time, holding it between my face and shoulder, when the hot glass exploded toward my face, the phone fell. Had to pull one piece of glass out of my eyebrow, three pieces from my beard (YAY ARMOR!) and several little chunks out of my arms. So now I’m down one $20 bulb, one iPhone screen (still functions) and I’ve got cuts all over me, but at least I still have both eyes.  Sonofabitch, but as my roommate just said, “Better iPhone than eyes”
